Intended for students who have not fulfilled their first-year writing requirement through the Drew Seminar, and for those who have but want to continue to strengthen their writing skills. Engages students in an intensive study of scholarly communication. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and practice the conventions of academic writing as assignments scrutinize the construction and organization of arguments and offer an understanding to how writers establish their ethos and use sources effectively.
